The remainder of our trip back through New Mexico and Arizona was fairly uneventful.  Central/Northern New Mexico is quite nice and would probably be our choice if we ever move. Our final stop was at the Verde Valley 1000 Trails near Cottonwood, AZ where we always go for a couple weeks before dropping down to Phoenix. There we meet all our friends at the Phoenix raceway for the Nascar Nextel Cup race week...

Carol, shopping (of course!) at the Indian Curio place in New Mexico. Notice bag of "bargains" she's carrying.

And finally at the Verde Valley 1000 Trails. Carol playing her casino game on the computer while I'm watching Monday nite football....

Our final stop

Use your browser horizontal scrollbar to scroll across this panoramic view of Phoenix Raceway to see the thousands of RVs here for race week. And this was before the rest came in for the weekend! The mile diameter race-track itself is in the distant middle of the picture. See below for close-up.

And then, after the race it was time to go home.... Sigh....
But it was a great three month trip!
