
Back East Trip
High-Lites
In mid-summer we headed north-east for a three month trip. Tho I suppose it's really the "mid-west", it was the first time we had ventured east of Colorado. We had always wanted to see Mt. Rushmore, SD, Devil's Tower, Wy, and on thru Nebraska and down thru Missouri and include Branson (for all the hoopla we've heard about it!). I was born in Springfield, MO but had not been back since I was 13. Then we figured we'd go on down thru Arkansas, Tennessee, and down the Natchez Trace thru Mississippi and into New Orleans, LA. Eventually we'd return thru Texas, visit friends there plus stay at four of the six Thousand Trails (of which we're members) in Texas. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and I have stripped out the best of the pictures for this site.
